Hello everyone,
This is a short post with a few words about Mobile World Congress (MWC) last week in Barcelona. At the same time, we are looking forward to CeBIT in Hannover next week.

On monday evening, Piet was at the IoT Stars event, organized parallel to the MWC main fair.

IOT STARS

IoT Stars was a startup pitching event for Internet of Things companies. Together with 9 other early stage startups and 4 series A startups, waylay was selected to pitch in front of a top-notch jury. It was a unique opportunity to create international visibility and to network with anybody involved in the IoT ecosystem: entrepreneurs, developers, investors, etc. Here is Piet on stage:

Piet talked about the gap between the current state of M2M and IoT. In that context, he pitched that waylay is a platform that enables a programmable world and brings openness and extendability to M2M and IoT ecosystems, and our story was very well received indeed!

Btw, congratulations to Leeluu from Finland who won the early stage startup competition!

After that, Piet had a very busy week at Mobile World Congress, a lot of interesting discussions and potential partnerships on the horizon!

MEANWHILE, IN THE OFFICE…

Back in the office, Francis and Veselin were busy adding some new things into the platform (Broker and Persisted Cloud Cache). We have now connected all dots of our platform (http://www.waylay.io/features/), which we will announce in the coming days, so stay tuned!

CEBIT-HANNOVER

As one of the finalists of the CODE_n15 IoT contest, Piet and Veselin will be traveling to CeBIT-Hannover next week. A nice interview with waylay was published on the CODE_n blog: waylay, Belgium PaaS with great potential/

If you happen to be at CeBIT, please come and visit us in Hall 16!
